Valentines!

My Valentines weekend has been great! On Friday I left work early and on the way home I got a phone call. I didn't recognize the number so I almost didn't answer it but then I was thought "no..I'm going to go ahead and answer it." Annnd here's kinda how that convo played out.

Lady-"Rachel? This is so & so from so & so. We have a delivery for you but we can't find you."

In my head I was thinking.. "a delivery..? what? For me?"

Lady- "Do you work at the hospital? The person just left a message and your cell phone number, they didn't know for sure which building you worked in."

Me-"Yes..I work in the hospital..but I have another call can you hold on one second?"

Lady- "Sure"

Me- "Hello?"

"Hi this is the Saint Francis Flower Delivery Room and we have some flowers here for you but we can't find you where do you work?"

Me- "I work in Health Information...but I've already left... I guess I can come back and get them."

SFHS-"Yes that would be great, we would hate for you to not get them, they're very pretty!"

>At this point I'm like in TOTAL shock! And trying to figure out what was going on!<

Me- (I switched back the flower lady) "That was Saint Francis and they have them, I had already left work but I'm going to go back and get them."


It was a crazzzzy ordeal!! All the way back to work I was like who would have sent me flowers that only has my cell phone #??? And doesn't know for sure where I work in SF??? HMMMMM...... Once I got to the flower room and got my flowers I was DYING to open the card. When I opened it I about fainted!!! I was just like Oooh mmmyyy word!!! I had thought of this person...but I was like nahh I don't think he would! BUT he did! And it totally made my day! ;)

My flowers!!

I had gotten flowers once before...it was a single rose and it was from a guy that worked in laundry at SF...right across the hall from me. I didn't even know him..but it was sweet... These flowers are from someone I know and it was DEFINITELY SWEEEEET!!! =)

I left work early so I could have PLENTY of time to get ready for that night. I went to a V-day banquet... I was nervous about it but it ended up being a G-R-E-A-T night! I reallllly enjoyed it! =D

Saturday-

I spent most of the day doing some cleaning and then baking. For sunday school I made close to 40 cupcakes, of course some will be staying here, and then I made some sugar cookies! =) I bought little cups and filled them with candy and little toys for the kids..they're so cute! Hope they like them! =)
