Saturday!!

Today has been wonderful. =) Spent most of the day w/my sister and little nubby...The weather was perfect...car is clean and groceries are bought... ready for tomorrow's services at church...but not so ready for the work week... I guess I never am ready for that!!

My little nubby is getting so big! Becky bought him a little "big boy bed" it's the cutest thing... so I went with her today to get it. He was in desperate need of a nap when we left so as soon as we were onthe road he passed out...

 I gave Caleb his first sucker and he held onto it like a big boy..It's so sad to see him getting so big!! (I may be spoiling him...but isn't that my job!?)

Isn't he just precious!?!?!?

I'm loving the wonderful time I had last night fellowshiping with my brother's church...Played some volleyball...my team lost..sad face...but had a fun time!

I'm ABSOLUTELY LOVING the fact that the snow is MELTING!!! Praise Jesus!!! I love the snow...but not when it's ugly and a nuisance!!

I'm loving this spring like weather we are having!! Makes me long for it even more than I already do!!!

I'm loving these kiddos from my Sunday School class at church...they bring a smile to my face. =)

And most of all...I'm loving my God! "If he's the only reason I live, then oh what a reason!" I want to remember to give Him praise for who HE is...not because of what he's given me or what he's done for me...but simply because of who He is!!

Mr. Midas

I thought this was too funny and just had to share. Midas curled up and made himself comfy in the Chihuahua's bed! And no, he doesn't think he's too big!!! He is such a goof!! =) Love him though!

I must say that I'm excited about it being Friday!!! I've had an interesting week and it seemed to be a repeat of last week...Because of the snow I packed my stuff and volunteered to stay at work, just incase it got real bad and no one could make it in. I was preparing myself to stay where ever they could put me in the hospital but bless their dear hearts the put us up in a HOTEL!! WO! Yea, it was NICE. Thank you Saint Francis!! =)

-Absolutely not..

-Ha! Depends on how close I am to the light...but usually I SPEED up... Especially if I'm runnin late... Lol

-Wheeeewww that's a HARD one.... it honestly just depends...I'm just gunna go with BOTH! =)

Monday Motivation

So often we are around people who are so negative over every little thing. Recently I was around someone that I'm close to but who is also negative quite often... I thought to myself "I do not want to end up like that." I will admit that I have not always been the most positive person. I have the tendancy to be negative....I feel like my eyes are open though... I want to try my hardest to be as positive as I can!! I want to be positive and have a smile on my face!! As a child of God I should be happy and have the joy of the Lord in my heart--ALWAYS! I know sometimes things in life aren't always the best but even in those time I want to be able to look back and see all that God has done for me and remember that being negative over something isn't the way to be!! Negativity only makes things worse, not better and it also causes people to NOT want to be around you. I do not want to be the kind of person that is always griping and complaining about everything. I do NOT want to end up an OLD NEGATIVE GOAT!! Just sayin. =)

Blizzard!

We have had some pretty crazy weather here in Oklahoma the past few weeks...One weekend it was close to 70 degrees and the very next week we have a BLIZZARD!! Seriously. A blizzard. Lol. We Oklahoman's seem to get every kinda weather that's available!! lol!! =] A friend posted it on facebook as "Global Menopause!" Lol. For real that's what's it's been like. Here are a few pics from the past week...

I'm so glad that my sister and her little family came and stayed the weekend with us! I love them so much.. and little Caleb, I don't know what we would do without him!! He is truly a remarkable little boy. Since he's been a part of our lives I have felt a love that I have never felt before...something that's unexplainable..and he's just my NEPHEW! I can't imagine what it must feel like to actually have children of your own. The love goes so deep. One day, I hope to experience it. =)
