Five Question Friday!!! =)

I am SOO glad it is FRIDAY and that it's finally the weekend!!! =)) Today I'm joining up with "My Little Life" and participating in Five Question Friday!!

1. If you could be a fly on any wall, which would you choose?

Now this...is a hard question because I would like to be a fly on the wall in a LOT of different places...but.. I'm going to have to go with My Little Life's answer...and say the Whitehouse! I would love to know what is actually going on in those meetings and what Obama is saying behind closed doors.



2. Do you budget your Christmas shopping or just get it done without budgeting?
I definitley do NOT budget. I usually wait until the last minute and get my gifts.



3. What is the craziest fad diet you have ever done?
Probalby the Cabbage Soup diet. It didn't last past like the first day though..so it may not even count!!!

4. Is there a TV show that you have seen every episode/season of?
Nope.


5. What one song always pulls at your heart?
A lot of diff songs pull at my heart in diff ways...and I'm sure there are some that I just can't think of at the moment that are probably better than this one. But there's a love song called "Crazy" and every time I hear it, it just makes my heart get this feeling...not sure what it is!! Lol. So that's what I'm going with!

Thankful Thursday-Pastor Appreciation

This is my first "Thankful Thursday" post!! I would like to dedicate it to my wonderful pastors, Bro. Douglas and Sis. Cecily Meadow.

I am so thankful that they are the pastors of our church!!! God knew exactly what we needed when He sent them to us. They have been there for me when I've needed them AND when I thought that I didn't need them!! I'm thankful for his persistence, otherwise I'm not sure where I would be today!! Being a pastor is BIG job but I know God has his hand on their lives and is guiding them through this journey that they are taking.

Each year the church tries to surprise them in some kind of way. This year Bro. Douglas' dad and mom, Bro. Darrell and Sis. Carolyn Meadow came and preached the service. Apparently, Bro. Darrell rarely ever leaves his church on Sunday mornings, so when he walked through the door the surprise was evident on their faces! It was priceless. =) 

After the service the church had a dinner for them. It was outstanding!!! I should have gotten a picture of the meal and of the cook and his helpers. He does a great job!! (Yes I said HE!! lol)

Friday Fun-day! =)

1. What is your favorite holiday and why?


My favorite holiday is definitely Christmas!!! I love, love, LOVE it!!! I love the atmosphere of excitement that is in the air. I love the decorations and the baking! I love traditions that have been made over the years (can't wait to start some of my own!) and most of ALL I love that we take this time to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!  
WhenI was younger I used to look forward every year to all the new gifts that I would receive. But, now that I'm some what older and more mature (cough cough) I've realized that gifts just are not that important. Don't get me wrong everyone loves to get gifts, but to me getting gifts at Christmas time is just an added bonus!! :) Family get to-gethers and fun times baking or decorating with my mother are far more precious to me than gifts!!!

2. Describe the best date you've ever been on.

Unfortunatley... This hasn't occured yet! Maybe one day soon it will..




3. Which room in your house is your favorite.

Kitchen! I've always loved Kitchens.






4. How many kids do you want to have?


I've said for a long time that I want no more than 5 and no less than 3! =)



5. What is your favorite quote?

6. What is the first thing you do when you get home?


Change clothes!! :)




7. Do you like cold weather or hot weather?


I prefer Fall weather! =) The in-between of hot and cold!!




8. Do you like your middle name?

Yes! Very much actually. Rayanne is my middle name and I was named after my Dad's dad and my mom's mom!! =) My dad's dad was named Raymon and my mom's mom was named Joyce Anne all the grand daughters have "Ann" in their middle name!! I like that all the sisters did that! ;)

What I'm Loving Wednesday!!

This week I thought I would join up with Jamie at "This Kind of Love"  and participate in "What I'm Loving Wednesday!"

I'm loving that this weekend we are finally having our garage sale!! I don't know why, but I love garage sales!! I don't get to go to very many, but I am very excited about ours!!! =)

I'm loving Adventures in Odyssey!! =] It's inteded for children...but as a young adult, I enjoy it!! I listen to it a lot at work to help the time go by! You can go to ww.focusonthefamily.com scroll down to shows and go from there! It's great, I promise! ;)

I'm loving STARBUCKS Coffee!!!

The white chocolate mocha cappucino is what I ALWAYS get... and it's fabulous!

I'm loving the reminder "I know the plans I have for you!" Life may be full of why's, when's and how come's but through it all God is whispering... I know the plans I have for you!

And lastly, I'm loving that the seasons are changing and FALL is in the air!!! I LOVE this time of year!! The colors, the holidays, the temperatures and everything else!!

Sometime during my lifetime I want to visit Vermont. They have cute little bed and breakfasts' and the scnerey is beautiful!!! During the winter it snows like crazy and there are sleighs pulled by horses you can ride in... I know it probably sounds weird that I want to go to Vermont of all places...but that's just one place that has always appealed to me!! So, hopefully one day I will get to! =]
